So now that the elections are over, let's get down to what we divers care about.
If ScubaBoarders had been elected, we would now be enacting:
1. Wednesdays will now be known as Wetdays...everyone dives on Wednesdays!
(sure cure to hump day!)
2. Economic recovery for all scuba items: buy one, get one free.
As we know all tech divers need everything in duplicate, all rec divers have a buddy that wants one just like theirs.
And this will be funded by govt. rebates to the manufacturers (like the auto industry bailouts, time to show the scuba manufacturers need a little love too)
3. Scuba expenditures are tax deductible as a mental health illness preventative.
4. Dive charter boats & liveaboards are exempt from paying fuel taxes.
5. Airlines exempt Scuba gear from excess weight & baggage charges.
