cruising on unemployment so on a budget. COMPLETELY sick of my tech career. havent had a vacation in years so taking it easy for alittle while to recover from career burn out.

looking for dive buddies for beach dives at lauderdale by the sea and stuff like that.
i can do it during weekdays since im not working.
its been a few years since ive been diving but i moved here to dive and have been here over a year and still have only gone snorkeling at pennekamp twice.
im going through the book and videos again to brush up on everything i need to know. getting my tank a vi/hydro at the moment.

havent even dove florida once so far, learned in the cold conditions of southern california.
if youre interest in beach dives off broward or miami-dade im game.

i dont expect anyone to reply to this message but i thought itd try it on a lark.

Hey don't give up. Just keep posting and checking the threads here. People do plan dive thru the board. I'm from Wisc and here on business and hooked up for a dive last week. Also, check the SoFL Conch get together thread, sounds like agood party this tomorrow. Unfortunately I'm home this weekend.

Good luck, dive safe,

Boy are we in the same boat! Its taken me 18 months to sort of consider that I could do tech work again without having some sort of desire to creating worm food out of those underqualified to be in any sort of tech or tech management position and seem to be inefficiently exchanging oxygen to carbon dioxide in relatively close proximity to you.

Lots of diving is available down here.. where would you like to dive??? Lauderdale, Keys.. Gulf... lakes... springs?? :D
