That is a great shot of the black Froggie Leesa. I'd like to take some shots os humpbacks too.

Great perspective on the seahorse Sharky.

This year, I want to do Virtual Awareness off Niihau.

Odds of endangered Hawaiin Monk Seals are very good.

I crave pelagics.....more sharks, baracuda, trevally, please!

Whale sharks, schools of hammerheads, great whites (from a cage, of course), basking shark, manta rays, a ton of stuff I can't recall right now.

Someday.

Hmmm...

Well, with the GSB in my sig line, I knocked one off not long ago.

In SoCal? Easy:

* I want to get some good shots of the sealions. So far, most of mine suck.

* I want to go back to the quarry on Catalina and shoot the butterfly fish there. I've seen them every single time I dont take my cam...

* I want to take a really good Kelp shot. Sun, Kelp, garibaldi, etc. Postcard stuff. Just to do it once. Then I'll never take one again.

* I want a good kelpfish shot. I have tons... and some are really cool. But nothing truly transcendent. I want one unforgetable pic of my fav fish.

That's really it. Got most everything else.

I want to go back and shoot some of the stuff I shot early on, when I was even more clueless than I am now. I stumbled on some great stuff in the early days, and totally hamfisted the shots. Now that I have the technical end more under control, and my Post shot workflow is getting better (I finally started using Photoshop and RAW a month ago - before that it was all .JPG and in-Cam composition, color, etc.) I want to re-shoot some of my earlier stuff.

Full body shot of an Eel. Now I just have about 100 species to go...

One of my missed goals of the last dive vacation was Turtles. I saw them on several dives last year, but without a camera. This year the Vis was not good, and I just did not see any. :(

Others include Shark photo's, a bigger Jewfish (I saw a 500lb Jewfish on the Duane, but was not carrying the camera..... mistake.. or maybe not).

I'd also like to get more into Macro. Unfortunately I need to MOVE so I can really start to persue these wishes! :D

Wow, free-swimming moray. Nice shot, RonFrank!

alcina:
sharky - you won't want the GBR for the great whites...they don't really hang out there. You want South Australia. Google for Port Lincoln to get started

Or come see me for the biggest guys - the whale sharks :D You'll have to plan for 2007, though!

Ok, S. Australia it is and a jaunt out west to visit y'all and some really big fish! and steal some photography tips!!:D

Hammerhead Sharks. I am diving the Galapagos the end of Sep/early Oct. :jump013: My first shark was in the Bahamas.
Got a good one there - I would show you but I don't have any pictures loaded on this site.
