I could really use an ultrasonic cleaner for some of my home projects.
It'll be useful for regs, and my restoration of an older espresso machine... oh and car bits... and electronic projects... and ...

I saw several cheaper ones on ebay, and much more expensive lab quality ones.

Any advice on this subject?

There are some usable budget models at Harbor Freight, like this one: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=47540 :D
For a smaller model, plug in "ultrasonic" in the search box.
The little guy will do a reg at a time, if you roll it around a bit.

LOL, that small guy looks tempting. Maybe I could bath my entire body in there. It looks like a possiblity. Then again, cavitation in the bones could be bad.

Try to go with a larger one if you can afford it. There will be a ton of things you will think of to use with it after you get it, and most of them will be about an inch too big to fit.

What is the minium size for the regulator cleaning, either 640 ml or 1200 ml?
