Hi All,

I'm an avid scuba diver and will have a few days off during an upcoming business trip to the UAE. Diving is off the table for me because I'm pregnant, but I thought I'd check and see if there are any worthwhile snorkeling sites in the area. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. If there's not much to see from the surface, I'll probably find another way to spend my free time.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there. There are some very nice snorkelling sites on the East Coast, most of the dive boats there will take snorkelers out as well. Some nice shore dives are doable as well. Drop me a line if you like and Ill set you up with some operators and options.

Yes, I concur; East Coast has more to offer. Enjoy your stay.

p.s. If you like to cook or bake, the real souvenirs are the fresh spices to take back home (e.g. peppercorns, saffron, cumin, etc.)

Snoopy Rock at Sandy Beach is accessible without a boat, or you can try Dibba Rock, which is further north or take a boat and snorkel at Sharq Island. Surface water temps are currently around 30-32C
