We had more water than this typhoon before. But the wind on this one was something else.

Phone systems knocked out in some areas as well, we've had to activate the Super Secret Alternate Communications Lines (non-PLDT), at work. My boss went into the office and I called him from home. "How'd you call in?" "I pressed the numbers on the phone." "Smart A..."
 
news says it's the strongest to hit Manila in 11 years... looks like we got "perfect disastered" just like on discovery

thank god it was only about 36 hours with no power for me... i was undergoing internet withdrawal last night
