Yes, the air integrated computers are more expensive, and some will debate their true worth. The more experience you have watching an analog pressure gauge and knowing how much air it will take to do your ascent and safety stop, the less valuable the ai computers are. They basically give you good information, but that information gives you a reason to not use your brain as much.

The only reason I would buy an air integrated wrist computer get rid of one hose. They have a wireless transmitter that sends pressure information to the wrist unit.

I have Basic Decompression Theory book but not this one. Thanks for the recomendation to my library. One can never have too many books on this subject.

Even though the math can give me a headache. The guy really is brilliant.

The math gives me a headache as well. But, it's a good read. And, yes, he is brilliant...

I called Larry at ScubaToys. I just ordered my first computer. Oceanic Versa Pro. Did lots of research and got lots of opinions. For my price range, this one had the best fit. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Atmos 2 here. Over fifty dives on the same battery. Seems good to me.

I have the oceanic veo 200 which was about $200 when I bought it. It fits in my console along with a compass. It is very simple to use, and tells you what you need to know.

I would also agree to talk to Larry.
