Tyler State Park

I heard that Tyler State Park might be a good place to go diving in North East Texas. I will be out there in the next couple of weeks and was wondering what it was like... I looked through the threads and didnt see any info on it... Thanks.

Try this thread. I'd like to get out there again this summer myself. Lots of fish, maxes out about 25 feet, pretty decent vis when you dont have 150 divers in the water.

lunardiver, be sure and bring all the air you're going to need. There is not a dive shop nearby (closest one is around 30 minutes or more). It's a nice little place to dive if you're not expecting stellar vis. Go expecting low vis, and if you get lucky (it does happen!) you may have a 15-20 ft vis day. If not, practice nav skills. be sure and post when you decide to come and we may be able to join you.
