There is very little available about this online with all of the existing barriers. It was announced on Facebook, and one poster is said to have the official report in PDF in Chinese. Anyone got anything more on this?

Accident: 26.Sep, loc at DaXing spring cave, north, DuAn. an 120m plan, one liberty sm cc diver & one oc both are not safety back.

Their bodies were found at 91m and 88m.

There is a body recovery report in Chinese.

Too long and complicate to translate.
Male and female team.
Man body was first located after few days.
Both bodies have to be "off gassed" first before they could bring to the surface. It was performed by a "medical professional".

What is with the top two photos? From a Norweigian News Station, and that police officer is Norwegian Police.

@Centrals

Does it say what those map diagrams are? Are those the dive planned of the dead? Or were they part of the recovery effort? Because if they are part of the planned dive, it almost looks like they were trying to do a traverse.

Ok I popped it into Google Translate, and it was quite readable.

This is just a log of the recovery operation, not the results of the accident investigation. The Norwegian references were comparing it Diving it Into the Unknown.

If the translation is correct the main rescuer got bent at least once, possibly twice.

very sad - as usual lots of unanswered questions

Got these from someone on FB, havent had time to translate yet

Two main searchers and one of them has reached 234m previously in that cave.
Searching started on 28th Sept
They took a rest day on 30 Sept
One of the searcher(least experienced one) has shown sign of DCS on 02 Oct so he went down to 9m with a bottle of pure O2 for IWR.

I found the other two reports from the third parties on the website below which is only in Chinese. it seems that the CCR diver has or nearly lost consciousness around 120 m due to the gas problem ( his CCR show the O2 problem for as long as 5 min). he decent to 120 m very quickly and began to ascent out of control. the OC diver tried to get hold of CCR diver and ascend with him. during the process, the OC diver lost the guide line.
the CCR diver has been diving in this cave several times and OC dive is here for her first time. So after the OC dive found the CCR diver and try to go back to the line, she was lost and went to the wrong cave till she used up all her gas.

i am not a technical diver and just try to make a rough translation based on the third party reports. in reports, there is no details of gas information of CCR diver. all this is just a guess based on the video of OC diver and the computers.

It sounds like the OC diver tried her best to do the right thing up to the end. Very sad for both parties and families.
