I am thinking of buying a set of extra long cam bands from Diverite. These will allow me to travel overseas, rent tanks of any size locally and rig up independent twins for deeper diving.
I own a set of steel bands and these work well with my plate. I am intrigued with the long cam bands since I can assemble tanks of any size and do multiple dives on boats with no compressor by bringing extra tanks.
I would like to see comments on the long bands from anyone that has used them. I imagine that the tanks shift a bit and they would no work with a manifold setup. Any other problems with them?
