Josh is in doubles, there goes the neighborhood. 
LOL. Don't let Mat bother you Josh. You will love the HP100's. And with the weight distribution from the transplate and backplate the weight doesn't feel much different on your back, picking them up when they're not on your back to fill or store them is another thing though. 
I did notice it was a bit more work to swim, but Gordon told me it was because you were displacing more water which makes sense.
