Whats the deal with this face guard? I put it on and could barely see the display because the bubbles were so bad. Then, in my infinite wisdom, I used a peice of cardboard to push the bubbles out. Now the face guard is all scratched up and the display looks foggy.

For those that have this computer, do you use the face guard? I was planning on using this computer as a watch but now I dont know...it looks terrible.

Thanks,

-J

I found the plastic shields interfere with readability, so in my Vyper I just removed it and to protect the face I'm using one of the Zagg protectors. It's much easier to read now, especially at night when you shine a dive light at it. I've ordered one for my Sol and plan to do the same with it.

I saw that product on another thread and it looks great. But, they dont have one for the IQ-900. Do you have any suggestions for a sub? I mean, is ther another large, round faced computer that I could look up instead? I was looking at the Suunto D6 but cant tell if the face is similar in size to the IQ-900.

Thanks for the reply.

All you need to do is find a Zagg protector for a device slightly bigger and cut it down. It should be just a millimeter or so smaller than the screen all around. You could make a template out of paper first. Another idea is to pick one up at Staples for a larger device and cut it-- you can take your iq-900 to the store to measure it out.

Good points, thanks! I didn't realize they sell them at staples. I wonder if I could cut 2 out of a cell phone screen protector....hmmmm.

Thanks for the suggestions!
