Relatively stiff but with some action near the tip which I like for less disturbance of the water flow over the blade. Buy them from Amazon and return them if you don’t like them, I have a pair of pro blades but the cost of mailing them both ways will just about pay for a set. The pro blade is good and a big improvement over the standard blade, the tri force is better and more stabil.

So you are really a huge fan of these Tusa fins? I mean, I'm not averse to buying more fins. Lately my wife is saying that I "spend too much on scuba" like that's even a thing. But I told her to calm down so I'm sure it's all good now.Stick with them, you’ll never know how good you could have had it

Not as much a fan of the TUSA as not a fan of the others but you’ve made the choice so spend enough time with them to know them so they work for you. If you do go against the boss and try/buy other fins, never tell which are you favorite because you may lose them in the settlement

You hit on a very good point- settling in with them. I know what I hate about my current fins, and that is their lack of stiffness. Now if these Deep 6 fins end up being too stiff then I will have new options to explore. I'm so new to scuba that I am learning what I like as I go. When I was freediving a quarter century ago, I loved stiff fins even though they took some getting used to. I expect that these Eddys will require an adjustment. But I truly hate how my current fins flop and fold when I kick hard- because what I want is speed at those times. I have a rescue diver course coming up soon and I'm going to have to tow an "incapacitated" diver I guess- and I want fins that cooperate. As I've told "the boss"- this isn't about what I want- this is about saving lives!!!!!

With or without thin athletic socks, these wore skin off my feet!! Fortunately I had packed plenty of waterproof bandages and could just cover up the hot spots. That's no way to live though!
