Ok, did you remove the straps? That's the real test. do they fly or just fall off? A simple test for fin performance. Yes, water spills off to the sides with flat fin designs. One reason why I put my Whiskers on these poorly designed 1960 fin concepts. Simple kits for the placement of Force Fin winglet technology. View attachment 912064 Thanks and have a great week.
Bring the whiskers back! Scubapro touched on your concept with their skegs but your design would do a lot to enhance fin stability in otherwise lacking designs.

I was a big fan of Scubapro back in the day. Did photography for several catalogs. Got their Jet fins at Dive N Surf, 1966. No longer a fan. It's Kirby Morgan for me now. Bigger issue is did Try Force Fin work without the straps........

Been spinning this strap issue since 1983. Show me what you got...

Haven’t tried it yet, in a few days

The genesis for this came from an earlier question posted a while ago, while looking into the fins in question I noticed an interesting (may not last) phenomenon in that if you ordered these fins in pieces from Bozo (Amazon) you can save about $100 over the cost of just buying the fins assembled.

Being a big fan of the scubapro super nova/ S tek fins I wanted to try these out and as a much less expensive to the SP take apart fins.
First to arrive were the screws and instructions, View attachment 876391
These were $7
Today the foot pockets, $49, blades $69 (I think I got them for $59) and spring straps $45 ($39 when I bought them) arrived.

Patents were filed for this idea by Robert Barnoin, 1966, Marselle, France. This concept has been tried several times. We did a similar

system with screws with the OPS Force Fin designs. Only thing these folks have is using the TRY
