I too was NASDS in 1976 then took some time off and then PADI. Actually have not counted the "old" dives even tho still have the old log book. Interesting difference between the old NASDS cert and what PADI does now. Hope we can meet in Coz this trip. It will be my first diving there.

I don't think you are weird! I "countdown" many things, including trips, last days on trips, halfway points, etc. Everyone has their "thing".

For sure. We were there 2 yrs ago as pod people (oh well) and kayaked in the park -was wonderful but did not have time to dive. I have been trying to get back until now.
