Ah ok, I like the sound of the Tecreational one. Spewing I can't do it here. They are called Distinctive Specialties. They are created by individual instructors and approved by PADI. There must be thousands of them around the world today.
Turn at 100bar and be back on the boat with 50 is all I've ever been told in my PADI courses. This is basic gas planning material, taught at OWD-level in, I believe, all remotely progressive dive agencies.

And to my knowledge that is not an official teaching in any PADI course.Turn at 100bar and be back on the boat with 50 is all I've ever been told in my PADI courses.

Ok I'm confused, didn't you just say all this halves and thirds rules was "basic" and taught in the OWD?Anything to the effect of "The manufacturer of your gas planning app will instruct you how to plan your gas", by any chance?
