Found a few onlne but would like to get some input from divers in the area.

Thank you,

Rock Bottom Divers is a short drive to the north (Tarpon Springs). They just started doing 3-tank dives on the weekends ($83). I scheduled both days next weekend on their 6-pack boat. I haven't dove with them yet, but I've been friends with the owners for many years. I'll post a dive report when I get back.

Thanks for your reply. Would rather not have to drive a half hour to T.S. Gotta be a reputable shop closer to SPB.

I'm staying in St. Pete Beach this Friday through Monday (Sirita Resort). If you're in town this early, we could meet up for a drink. One of my all-time favorite bars is the Undertow - right on St. Pete Beach. I'll probably also stop by St. John's Pass too. If my dive gets cancelled, I'm driving south until I find a dive op thats going out (even if I end up in Key Largo). :D

Tackle Shack runs a boat out of Madeira Beach (Just up from John's pass). The schedule varies though depending on conditions. Typically Tues, Thurs, Sat. Give them a call and I'm sure Jimmy will get you hooked up.

A little farther up in Clearwater you can try " tanks-o-lot " charters. They changed owners since I dove them last which was years ago
but I have heard decent reviews with the new owners. They used to go out to the old clearwater bridge pilings that were dropped as an
artificial reef years ago. The structure held a huge amount of fish and was a nice dive in that area.
