Usually dive with Atomic Blades and sometimes Atomic Splits if going snorkelling with wife while we are on trips. Headed to Bahamas and travelling uber light so Atomics are too long for my bag.

Looking for some "travel fins" to snorkel with. Some look so small I don't see how you can generate any push but I know some of you have already gone there.

    Do's and Don'ts?

    Thanks - david

I really like my SP Go Sport fins. Not too stiff. They make regular Go fins for no boots. Great reviews everywhere.

ScubaPro Go Sports aren't that long, but are quite wide and bulky. The Go Travel is designed for your situation. They are supposed to be a little short on power for scuba, but should be fine for snorkeling.

Or look for some used Force Fins (new if you are made of money :))? They provide a lot of thrust in a very small package. They work best with a flutter kick, but that's probably what you are doing anyway.

I dived with one on the women DMs at Jupiter Dive Center in stiff current and current pulling off the reef. She was diving Go Sports and had the ball and flag. She did just fine I asked her about the fins and she said they were just fine. I would imagine they would be fine for most scuba diving I dive Dive Rite XTs, I may give the Go Sports try one of these days.

My go-to are the Scuba Pro Go Sports! I even wear the x small and have no issues with thrust and maneuvering.

XTs are my go to wetsuit fin, if you try the sports I'd be very keen to hear your thoughts.

I gave up on the "travel" fin, well travel gear in general, years back now I just take my everyday rig. I've found most dive gear touted as "travel" is a compromise in some way. YMMV.

Ah, "to snorkel", that's twice now, note to self, a) read whole thread b) read properly.
