My husband and I have been diving a couple of years and both have Zeagle Rangers. We originally dove off Catalina (5/3 mm) however, lately we've been doing more warm water (Mexico and Caribbean) diving (0.5 mm skin only) and wanted to upgrade to a lighter, more travel friendly bc. We've been looking at the Zeagle Stiletto. Any other suggestions? We want integrated weights and a back-buoyancy style. He tends to get a little chest squeeze in the jacket style.
Second question - any recommendations for websites with large size dive skins? They are tough to find.
Hubby is 6'3" and 280. We dive single steel or alum 80 tanks (whatever we rent). I can't remember how to figure out how much buoyancy (lift capacity) his bc will need. Thanks for the opinions....

Can't help with the BC but http://scubatoys.com has large dive skins. Beast is 6'6", about 250 and he wears a 3X Henderson Hot skin.

I am 6'3" and weigh 285. (damn, gained 15 pounds this winter) I JUST bought a DR Transpac II and am very happy with the fit. I haven't gotten to dive it yet but have spent many hours "modeling it" and adjusting it. :D I went with the travel wing (30# lift) and dive a steel HP120.

Nice and lite weight, compact and very comfy.

Check out the new travel line from Sherwood...last year they introduced the Tortuga and now they have the Axis and Solaris. They are travel BCs, weight integrated (great system) and back buoyancy.

Cheers.

With a single AL 80 and a skin, anything over 30# will be serious overkill. Despite the marketing, the smaller the bladder you can get away with, the better.
