Royal springs is another option depending on river height. It browns out easily if it has been raining. But is free and normally quite nice.

Troy is $5.

True, but Troy is also a hole in the ground. It is 70' deep which is handy for some course standards. But it is just a hole. Not much fun to swim around.

16 days ago I booked three days at Blue Grotto (Cottage, Diving, Pool for training, etc...). At the time, the forecast predicted daily highs in the high-60s and daily lows in the mid-40s. Now, the forecast projects lows between 20-24*F and highs between 37-43*F. Bamboozadle by the weather gods, once again! 🤦‍♂️

At least the water will be warm.

Finished teaching the OWD course at Blue Grotto this week. The facilities were great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The water was warm-ish (72°F) and clear. I will definitely be returning to the Blue Grotto Resort as my training center of choice for central Florida.

I will definitely be returning to the Blue Grotto Resort..
Congrats on the success, it's a great place for training/testing. Were you able to try out any of the local restaurants and pick one you liked?

We ate at the Ivy House. Everything we had there was delicious. We also ate at the Shogun Japanese Restaurant. It was pretty good too. I’d recommend either, depending on what the person is in the mood for.
