Great job this weekend Capt James. We can not thank you enough for our first time diving for Meg Teeth in NC. You put us ON the teeth. :cool2:

See you in MHC in a few weeks.

That's awesome! I'm hoping to go out to fossil ledge or meg ledge later this month, if a spot opens up. I'm on the standby list at aquatic safaris. I hope one does, I've been finding them things on the beach my whole life, but never that big.

Randy - Great weekend with you guys on 'Tortuga'. I'm including a picture of what I found by way of a promotion for Tortuga and NC ledge diving, not to out-do your pictures! I did do an extra day after all!!
The fossils I collected were all at a depth of 90-95 feet using 32-36% nitrox, average dive time around 35 minutes, doing two dives at each location each day for three days.
Cost of 3 days for the boat tickets, plus hotel, gasoline to get to and from Wrightsville Beach from Virginia Beach, and tank fills rounded out about $900.
Happy to elaborate if anyone needs advice etc...
