I've been informed that I have a torn achiles tendon & I did a real good job at tearing it (it sounded bad when it let go so that's not real news). I'm told they need to operate plus put me into a cast & that I will be off my feet (so to speak) for 6 to 8 weeks but that's all the doctor will say for now. Any advice as to how long & in what way something like this effects kicking ones fin when diving? I mainly dive in Cozumel & currents can be strong at time & trying to dive using a single fin doesn't seem like fun. Thanks, Larry.
