I'm not fat, my tummy is  I beleive in wearing swimsuits that flatter my figure, not draw attention to the parts I don't like so "the tummy" is tastefully concealed in a one piece or tankini. Additionally my tummy is fat because I have a job that involves a lot of sitting and because I have a pizza addiction

" I have a pizza addiction" ...
... I can stop any time I want to, really, I can ... I just don't want to

I like Pizzas , and I like Tummies too :D

Hey Gidds, I also wear a tankini when diving but lately have been thinking of getting a rash guard. I just wanted something with a little more coverage because sometimes peeling the wetsuit off feels like it will take my bathing suit with it. I have a long torso so I can never find a one piece that fits comfortably or I'd go that route. Check this link out, the Henderson rash guard is fast drying too.

Just a question, if everyone is wearing fast-drying sports bras and rash gaurds on top, what are you wearing on the bottom? I've never been a 2-piece swimsuit wearer becaues you always have to buy both pieces together, and if it fits the top it NEVER fits my larger bottom. I'd love to switch from my tank suits, but I can't find a bottom that works. Any suggestions?

ok, so I'm not sticking with the "look good" trend that scuba diving offers to us ladies (pleeeeeeeease  ) by doing so, but I have found that all too often, I can find a good top to fit my double d's but then the bottoms just don't work out. I mix and match my "scuba wear" all the time. There's no way I'm ever going to wear a bikini top again (wet suit came off, along with the top, not fun when your the only girl on the boat and the guys are to dumbfounded to help you) , a full piece won't work either (I think they are all designed for the average C cup woman in mind, or have so much padding in the bust area that you have to squish the water out), I've given up on matching, I stick with a basic black bottom from Mossimo and alternate tops.

As for rash guards, my goodness I love them nice comfy and try fast, however, if your larger than say, a B cup, you start looking a lot like a porn star (think cold, wet, very thin and clingy material)...

Can't anyone sow out there? make us ladies a good suit that matches and, what the heck, is remotely attractive.... I'll be your first customer!

LOL, I was thinking the same thing after I posted regarding the rash guard. I'm a C cup and don't think I'd wear the rash guard without a bikini top underneath for support. I also mix and match my tops and bottoms. Right now it is a black tankini top that I found at......Wal Mart! Fits perfect too. I just don't like the feeling that I'm going to pop out of the top when taking the wetsuit off and wanted more coverage.

Hey! I can sew and BabyDuck can too. Maybe me and Marci can design a swimsuit for us fickle girls.

lord. well, i'm willing to try. requests, girls?

For mix and match bottoms: get a vollyball bikini and wear the top under the rash gaurd or whatever (I may try the rash gaurd since I prefer my stomach be covered). TYR vollyball bikinis cover your bum and some of them are reversible with a pattern on one side and a solid dark color on the other. Another idea I came up with is "bun hugger" lycra racing shorts or even bike shorts. Hey if the guys can wear "jammers" why can't we wear bike shorts with a rash gaurd?

I've worn the rash guard shirts, and yes you do look like a porn star, but the hubby doesn't seem to mind :D I dislike one pieces too, with full D's I have to go to a 11/12 or bigger to fit in the chest and then the butt I could fit 2 people in with me. There is a site on the internet that sells mix and match bottoms & tops. They have a vast selection of different styles, I'll have to look for the site again. Most are the standard material tops, that take forever to dry but they do have some fast dry tankinies. I've also worn the Under Armour sports bras and tops. They are fast drying and stylish, but on the more pricey side. I usually just unzip my wetsuit for short boat trips back to shore and wear a standard bikini top, if the boat trip is longer, I'll take the wetsuit off and let the other guys stare, I'll never see them again, so who cares what they think or see.

As a DM on the boat, I just feel funky doing that. I really don't care what they think or the fact that they stare so long as I can maintain a level of professionalism with the boat charters. It's hard to give a briefing when all eyes are on your boobs (without laughing ). I don't need the support as much as the coverage (I had a brilliant doctor, although I'm exactly one full cup size bigger than I asked for ) I just would like some options other than tired old boring stuff..
