The funny thing about internet forum debates is people always want to have the last word. They think they have to respond because if they don't, it will be interpreted as they lost the debate and have silently agreed with the other person. I interpret this debate like you do. 2 knowledgeable members pretty much in agreement, just saying it in a different way.
Hopefully this thread will just end here.
