What camera you using?
I used GoPro 9, mounted on hot shoe, on top of Sea&Sea DX6G, which is designed for macro protography that GoPro is not designed for. This setup would give me a complete option for macro photography and action videography at a budget price.

On this trip, there’s not much of macro stuff to take picture or video of. So what you see in the trip video are mostly from GoPro 9.

I didn’t even use my two Weefine Solar Flare 5000 video lights in the shallow, sunny day and clear blue water of the dive sites. I did use the video lights one time during a dusk dive. A Tiger shark sneaked up on me right above my head while I was filming a Lemon shark cruising on the sandy bottom.

Disclaimer: 1) I could never engage in this dive. With my seasickness, a liveaboard is out of the question. I know people say things like "After the first day, you get used to it", or "They spend most of the time in a calm, protected harbor" or " The patch makes it better". Well intended, but I would have to be sedated to keep from jumping overboard. 2) I have seen my fair share of sharks, but never a tiger shark the size of a school bus! Even with the best preparation, I wouldn't have the calm logic to push Daisy away. That being said, I loved your videos! It is the perfect anecdote to this gloomy, grey November day. You did such an amazing job with the video editing, music and showcasing the amazing beauty and personalities of these creatures. I will just settle with living vicariously through you with these dives. Thanks for sharing and making me feel like I was there-minus the puking and freaking out.

p.s. the clip of the Tiger shark approaching the guy from behind made me think of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine gives the sneaky creepy office sidler a box of Tic Tacs so she can hear him sneaking up on her. I know, very obscure reference.

Thanks for the compliment. I’m glad you like the videos.

There is a gentle Tiger shark, named Emma, that has been hanging around for at least 20 years in Tiger Beach. The first time I heard about Emma was from my buddy, Gregg, who went to Tiger Beach a few years ago. Then I watch this video, below, about Jim Abernathy describing his relationship with Emma.

Then on the very last dive of our trip, when Shear Water left the site, Emma showed up in our shark feeding stage. I didn’t know it was her until one of my dive buddies, Matt, mentioned about her deformed tail fin is the dead giveaway of her. Finch confirmed that. He speculated that happened around 2017. So some old videos of her may show her tail fin in normal shape. I put together our diving experience with Gentle Emma, below.
Enjoy it!

FYI @scubadada & I just booked March 12-19, 2022 trip to Tiger Beach, including Bimini for the Great Hammerhead. There are still 3-4 spots available if you shark divers are interested in joining us.

This was a very accurate depiction of this great trip and boat. Captain Scott and the Dolphin Dream is the best option for tiger sharks and Hammerhead diving - he is the one that started it all. That is why I do a charter or two each year for my groups. Message me about my 2 open spaces for my February 19th - 27th charter . Peak season for Hammerheads and if they are not at Tiger Beach we move down to Bimini.
