Ti-Zip durability?

This youtube video was linked in a Deco Stop thread. I've been using a Ti-zip in my Bare Nex-Gen for a little over a year now and really like it. People just cant get over the fact that it's made out of plastic, after seeing the video I don't think it should be an issue.
