 Talk about overkill! I did hear that the water temps were getting colder in the Keys. Dropped way down to 84º!

Jeff wore a dry suit in the Keys, but not because of temperature. His doctor had ordered no diving because of an injury. When Jeff explained he could keep it dry with a dry suit, his doctor allowed him to dive. It was use a dry duit or no diving. Diving the Keys in June with a dry suit is definitely not for wimps. It's easy to get over heated.

I felt sorry for Jeff, and would like to share some info that may make him feel more comfortable under h2o. If you don't mind past it to him.

I wore REI's moisture wicking undies under my fleece in my dry suit. He may be able to wear the moisture wicking undies in his dry suit.

The moisture wicking underwears wick away sweat from my body and keep my dry throughout the dive. It actually has a cooling effect keeping the body dry and comfortable.

If he wear it in the tropic, he can dive in dry suit and at the same time keep himself cool and dry.

These dry socks and undies keep my realy dry in the dry suit eventhough I sweat in it. Hopefully, these info can help Jeff dive more comfortably.

Now THAT's different! Dive or not dive? No question...you do what ya gotta do.

Hope he heals quickly.

Believe it or not, on our NC trip shortly after the FL one (end of June) the water was almost as warm (75-78) and Jeff was still diving dry. He decided that he actually likes it! With minimal undies (shirt & shorts) he proclaimed to be very comfortable in it. Go figure, I would've been sweating my a$$ off...
