Hi all, just wanted to share another negative air fill experience in Key largo.
We returned from a morning on the Spiegel and tried to get Nitrox fills at Ocean Divers. Some how they've decided not to fill tanks with just vip o2 cleaned decals around the tank neck. They insist on having a complete nitrox sticker around the entire circumference of the tank. No Nitox band no fill.

We ended up at Quiessence just down the road, they welcomed our buisness and understood our Vip stickers(Nice clean shop and well organized fill area).

I guess a Stickey with some of these issues might help future divers when they visit.

Just curious.... does Ocean Divers do partial pressure fills? If not, they may not have O2 clean nitrox. (regardless of the nitrox bands...)

I think Quiessence does do PP fills and has O2 clean air for example.

I never had any bad experiences with Ocean Divers, just my 2 cents

Me too with Ocean Divers...never had a bad experience. Don't know what their policies are on Nitrox fills

They do membrane fills...32%

Odd, you can pack a 32% membrane fill into most any tank perfectly safely.
That nitrox sticker wrapped around the tank must suck all the bad molecules out.

CAPT HOOK:
Their shop, their rules.
What's the big deal?
none - but as the original poster mentioned - it would be good to have it in a sticky so you know which dive shop to take your tanks to if you need a fill.
