Currently I have a pouch for the things I carry on the waist belt next to the right weight pouch. I have to remove my kit and hand it up, so in order to not have the pouch slip off during this, I have a D-ring on the belt next to the weight belt that I use a double ender to secure that pouch. It works fine, but I think this pouch being secure to the weight pouch it would be cleaner and less cluttered. I'll soon find out.
The D-ring on the LEFT weight pouch works just fine for my purposes. It secures my SPG (which I do not look at during the dive) and my slung pony (as seen in my thumbnail).

Hi, do the weights in the weight pockets shift around if the pockets are not full of weight? I have ordered medium size weight belts but when diving in warm waters I will only need 3/4kg. I've just gone for size medium for extra weight I may use in cooler waters. Thanks

Got my Xdeep pouch, installed it, but haven't dived it as yet. That said, here are my 1st impressions:

1) Fits nicely on the weight pouch. Out of the way and leads to a less cluttered waist belt.
2) As a result, if you need to carry more stuff you can still add that additional pouch on the waist belt as well.
2) It's a little too out of the way and a bit hard to reach. I had issues zipping it back up after putting items back if you unzip all the way, but if it just zipped open enough to get the things I had in it, it is fine. Attached to the weight pouch is not ideal if you plan to frequently go into it. In that case, put it on the waist belt.

Will update when I get it wet and see how accessible it is while diving and in trim.

Thanks, yes that helped. How is the access to the weight pouch in the event you need to drop weight during the dive?

Because it's threaded to the side of the weight pouch it doesn't interfere with the front where you would be putting in or taking out of weights. A pouch on the belt could.
