Thoughts on the Garmin Inreach Messenger?

Has the Dryfob team considered making a container that would allow something like the Messenger to sit flat inside rather than upright - sort of like a hockey puck? I realize this would require a larger diameter, but it would substantially reduce the overall profile of the container.

Thanks for the idea and it is something we’ve indeed thought about. There are some practical machining considerations for a max diameter (and getting a grip on the bigger diameter also poses challenges). We don’t have a good path to such a device at present and in general our users have appreciated having the extra room to carry additional safety equipment such as mirrors, whistles, lasers, even some high energy snacks etc etc. Very much appreciate the suggestion however.
