I use my mini weekly. I also have a quantix 7 and mk2 watches, so basically everything works together. My boat has all garmin stuff as well and can run most of it from my watch. The mini is great, been running it for years, just make sure you are updating the software as needed.

I just recently got the garmin inreach mini 2 with the dive case and on my 2nd dive with it down to 80 ft it flooded too, first dive was only a max of 20 ft and it was fine, now my inreach 2 won't power on.
@BruceA78 I'd reach out to garmin support. A friend had a similar issue and apparently there was a problem with the hinge pins on some of the dive cases that has since been addressed. They waranteed him a new case and a replacement unit.

Thanks for the info! I am going to try and reach out to them Thursday or Friday, I think their support is closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Unfortunately I am leaving for a 2 week trip to Barbados on Monday and was hoping to take it with me to play around a little bit, but I'll just be happy if I get replacements! At least my M2ki and M3ki have been super solid so far without an issues!

I’m a cheap b*stard but I finally broke down and bought a sat commo device.

Pocket sits aft of my left hip D-ring for stripped down ST or TS rec dives.

The pocket comes off and the contents go into leg pockets alongside other essentials for a profile involving stops.

Strobe is pre-attached to my DSMB.

What model strobe do you have attached atop your DSMB?

TekTite Strobe

Not completely satisfied with it (bit cheap) but it’ll do. I wanted something light enough that it doesn’t topple my DSMB.

It works well for me.
