Hey guys,
I see this hood on a bunch of major online scuba retailers, but no one has reviewed it or commented on it. What are your thoughts? It is 5mm thick and has holes for your arms but no torso. What do think about the design?

Depending on price, if you don't want to buy a full vested hood it's a good buy. You won't have to worry about tucking your hood in.

It's about 30-35 dollars

Interesting design indeed.

The sequence of don/suit up has additional restriction with this design, meaning this hood must be on before the rig, and rig off before hood off. I am not sure I like this restriction.

I would guess that it may have a tendency to ride up your pits...
I recently bought an Evo chicken vest for $29 locally

I just ordered one actually. It was like two dollars more than a mares regular hood. If I don't like it I guess I could just cut the bottom part off.

and who knows... my armpits could suddenly get sensitive
