I looked into making them with tabs. My source could not do them. So they are just 3M VHB taped on. They don't come off easily.
Think I scored big time today. Voit Lung blue label.

Question on the tinnermans that Elmer has with his reg: Aren't they the more correct clamps for that reg as opposed to the plastic hose clamps?

Speculation as the Blue VR-1 was not cataloged. However if the Blue VR-1 was available only in 1959 and that was the year that the painted 50 Fathom was introduced with chrome Tinnermans, it would make good business sense to use the same clamps on the VR-1.

I think the tinnermans are period correct. I had them on mine but replaced them with nylon clamps. I kept my tinnermans but they are a real hassle to re-install in the same location and they seem to mar your hoses somewhat.
