Yesterday I found an encrusted pressure guage. No console, no hose, just a pressure guage. I cleaned it up underwater, held it in front of my pressure guage, showed it to my buddy, and gave the out of air signal. He looked at it, fell for it and passed me his octo. I took his octo and handed hime the guage.

Today I found a 20mm round and 30mm round from WWII. The stamp on the back of the round told us it was created in 1944. The 20mm was empty but the 30mm was still live. We have found live 105mm rounds. Come to Okinawa for a 60 year old scavinger hunt.

Found a local mans driver liscense that had expired five years prior. I still need to knock on his door since it stated he lived nearby the site...

Okay, on one dive, a case of scotch....
On another, one of our comic relief DMCs was tooling along and we saw a pair of perfectly folded, with tags, designer jeans. Bader, our "special DMC" takes off his fins, put on the jeans (a perfect fit!), replaces his fins, and finishes the dive..... It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen.

Oh. anchors. lots of anchors.....
spearguns
corona bottles
Did I mention that I am in a dry country? That case of scotch made us very popular....
lots of snorkles
knives
weightbelts
weights
oh, lots of big igloo shaped fish traps the idiots drop illegally square on top of the reef. We cut out the opening doors, take them off the reef and out about 15 meters. New fishy homes now and the fishermen will never be able to get them back. Karma is a Beeee-och.

I found a fishing lure & a golf ball---YES!

Without reading all 77 pages of this thread, I would argue that I have found one of the most unusual items whilst diving.

As well as all the expected anchors, torchs, weight belts, money, fishing tackle, etc. we found a six inch pink rubber penis (aka DILDO) at 27m the other day. :laurel:

I'm glad I had the camera there as my buddy placed it on his forehead long enough for me to snap away a pic!!

Cheers
