Went diving today in Lake Murray, SC. Found several golf balls, baseballs...even found a tool box with several tools, but the most interesting item was a 9mm handgun (without the clip). Found a Sheriff's boat soon after and turned it in. That was something for my buddy and me to talk about.:11: :11: :11:

A new Honda motorcyle in a Maryland quarry. Sixty feet down. I removed the plate and gave that to the State Police. It was stolen in Washington, DC the week before. I was given strict orders not to try to recover it. I went back a week later to "check on it". All that was there was a throttle cable, one carb, and a small dive knife. I believe that another group of divers attempted to recover it, and it wound up dumped into about 100 feet of cold dark water. It is probably still there.

Diving in West Palm Beach, I found a Swatch Fun Scuba watch with a broken strap.

Diving the in SW Puerto Rico, I found a newish Cressi snorkel, and a PADI C-Card at about 60 feet

knives
snorkels
weights
an axe 3 miles off shore

has anyone found anything that really made their hearts jump? Like bones where no bones should have been? I found a few at my local dive site the other day, but they were chicken bones. Land animal bones in this area definetly make me jumpy at first, cause this place is well known as a supposed "cement shoes" depository.

Found a 30 pound pipe fitting. Didnt seem like much but after 4 days in electrolysis it turned out to be Brass. Found on City Of Salisbury wreck Boston

I have found all the usual lost gear. My most noteable find was at the Blue Heron bridge in Riviera Beach Fl. It was a soup can duct taped to a brick. Upon opening I found 2 small Voodoo dolls. They were made of fabric one male and one female and were stuck full of pins and needles.

I found an odd one this weekend. A sterling silver "sugar sifting" spoon. Quite small and delicate. Looking it up on ebay, they command a nice price, but alas mine was pretty beat up and would be worthless other than as an addition to the odd collection.

i live in las vegas and as the water at lake mead drops, due to the drought, we are able to go deeper and deeper! the lake has been here for over 71 years!

i did find a digital watch the other day... a real cheap one! was hoping for a rolex or dive computer; maybe next time!

OH, i did find what i think is a meteor! i collect them and it has all the meteor characteristics!!!!
