I have purchased your Modular Series 8062LH-4000, & 8062RH-4000 Valves. It is my understanding that they will
come 40% Oxygen ready.* I will be using the rig with 100% oxygen in a rebreather unit.* Is any upgrade needed to have the valve O2 ready or would an O2 cleaning from my local dive shop be sufficient.
Many thanks,
Bryan
They responded:
Bryan-
As the hang tag that is included with the valves mentions, the valves are designed for EAN use to 40% oxygen maximum.* That is the maximum amount of oxygen that can be present in the final mix.* They are not approved for 100% oxygen use under any circumstances.

Thermo Valves
... I did get some good advice from Dave S. (www.nobubblediving.com) not to fret and just be sure to open the valve slowly to prevent 'dieseling'.
What is the consensus here?
Thanks
