I'm a Fish!
You've been asking for it, so here it is - show us your editing magic. This theme can be heavily edited with whimsy or just slightly modified in post production - it's all about seeing creatively, experimenting with new ideas and just having fun. Composites, "painting", removing elements from originals, adding elements, going Warholesque...this is the month!

If you want to be a really nice person, go ahead and add what you did to the image to your post so others can learn and find new things to try.

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Pool's open! Thanks to sharky for giving me the heads up that it didn't open properly!

Well I haven't really done much in the way of anything beyond just basic post processing. Here are some before and after shots where I have used Picasa's Retouch tool to remove backscatter :) I might have used the 'Shadows' button too, they are about the only two things I use to modify pictures (I am lazy)

Petunia, that starfish and pipehorse photo is phenomenal!!!! I'm tempted to ask permission to print it!!! And, do my eyes deceive me, or is there another animal above the pipefish...a different type of pipefish, or maybe a seahorse?

I would be honoured if you printed and displayed my picture KBeck. I will go back to the original and check for another critter... I know there were some smaller Pipehorse there .... so small they would have fit on your small fingernail.. they were nearly transparent.. my camera just couldn't pick them up.
