Bouyant1 -- Yep good chance to get someone's one year old full rig. $3k worth for 500 beans. Lots of middle class lay off's and more to come as the Robin Hood Economic plans are handed down.

We're going socialist faster than I thought was possible.

It is much more expensive to dive here ($85 - 120) so filling boats is like pulling teeth these days. Things do seem to be getting ever so slightly better. :)

We're feeling the crunch, too... "luxury" activities and items are the first on the chopping block! My student counts have been halved (or worse!) for the past 6 months or so. That being said, we're still getting quite a few certified divers through the shop - I guess those of us that are truly addicted will find the cash to support our habit! :)

And the article did not once mention "oxygen tanks" as so many news outlets do!

Here we are reported to use both oxygen and nitrous oxide in our tanks! You ought to try the latter some time.

Our geographic segment of the industry here has been significantly affected as well. There are few businesses that are truly recession proof.

Where can I get one of those fills?

Your dentist can hook you up :D

Perfect - I'll just ask my mother then :)

So... I'll fill my tank with NO2. You dial 9-1. And then when I go diving, wait about 4 or 5 minutes, and press the other 1. Mayhem will ensue - adventure for all! :rofl3:
