I don't know of a theory that says that monkeys have turned into people?

I think it's the evolution theory. Look closely at my avatar, it's a picture of a little rhino turning into an elephant!! The little rhino is the one sitting on it's bum.:D

Evolution does not say monkeys turned into people. I believe it says we have a common ancestor. Thal please correct if I'm wrong or if I oversimplified it as I'm not a scientist nor do I play one on TV (I was beaten out for the part :D)

Actually you are quite correct, and yours was a much better response than mine.

Then, I am sorry to say, for all your vaulted learning and pretense, you appear to display the characteristics of naught but a taxocentristic, egotistical, fool. Too bad, it's a shame to see a potentially good mind go to waste.

Only fools call others fools, Thal. Altzheimers must be creeping up on you, my dear friend.

Monkeys into people is sort of the one that I find the least likely and the most offensive.:eyebrow:

Are you getting confused with turning water into wine?

Yeah, I agree, that bedtime story is offensive and the least likely to be true.

You seem to think that just because you say something that makes it so. That's a very, very, foolish concept. As an anonymous sage once noted, “Persistence is a fool's best asset." You definitely qualify .

“Persistence is a fool's best asset." .

Ooooh, that's a good quote. Not pointing fingers mind you, just impressed with the perspective.

I rather like Winston Churchill: "Never, never, never, never give up."

I always thought it was something about "open your mouth and remove all doubt".
