I am 6'3" with long legs. When I teach I use a vest and find it the most difficult way to stay horizontal, even after shifting weights every which way and adjusting position and using breath control. Staying neutral is not a problem but maintaining horizontally is and I have come to just accept it. I have to use some slight fin motion to stay horizontal.
When using my ss bp/w I use a 120 cubic ft cylinder and no weight and can stay horizontal very easily. When I use that and my drysuit it is even easier. But with the vest I am going to have to use my fins to stay in a horizontal position...It just isn't going to get any better than that...
