And between the North Stars, and The Wild, Minnesota has how many cups?

If you want to reflect on the past so much when was the last time Philly won a cup, scoring title, or anything other than a regular season or postseason game?

ohh that's right...you can't reflect on the past too much because you haven't won anything since you won the cup in 75. You've never won a scoring title. Next time you want to delve into history make sure you history is bright before you start to question someone else's.

Hopefully today the world gets to see that Claude is not "little Mario" or even in the same league as Mario because lets face the music...HE'S NOT and will NEVER BE. 6 scoring titles, 2 cups, 3 league MVPS, 2 playoff MVPs and that just the ones I know off the top of my head. Claude has a lot of work to do before you can even mention his name in the same sentence as Mario's.

Can you please tell me when I "delved" into the past?

:headscratch: Who the hell brought up Mario? He was a great player. I give credit where credit is due. I don't hate a player just because of the team they're on.
The ironic thing is that I have no hatred for the Penguins.
Just some of their fans are assholes...

And The Flyers take game 1!!!!!!!!

Al, Claude G is a great player, No doubt about that! You just don't like him.
Mario played at a different time, different style of play. He is (or was) another great player! Can't take that from him.
I am not sure but who mentioned Mario in the first place?
See you topside! John

I'm not saying he isn't good. All I'm saying is he has a long way to go before he hits or even comes close to Mario or Gretzky status. Lets face it they're hockey gods. Lindros IMO would be right up there with them if his career wasn't cut short. Jags referred to Giroux as Little Mario many times in various interviews over the past two weeks. IMO he was only saying that to snub Pitt but oh well Jags knows he's got a long way to go before he gets to that status.

The only player in the league right now that even comes close to possibly being the next "Great One" is Stamkos. Ovechkin fell apart and I'm not sure he will ever produce like he did two years ago. He seemed too much out of it this year. Malkin will never see his full potential until he plays on a team where he is "the man". Crosby, I don't know about. If he can get over the injury bug he will be up there.

G is in his fourth year. Yes he does have a way to go but prob the best player playing at this time! Jagr is in a better position to judge this then myself. Stamkos another great and fun to watch play hockey. Now Crosby he is a great player, but I can not get behind what he was doing during the playoff series. to much energy spent trying to play a role he does not have the "head" for!
See you topside! John
