No. It's a standard CS. Lots of unused thread length inside the coupling. But that o-ring on the barrel is critical. It's the only seal - something I'm uncomfortable with.Interesting, so the “comfort swivel“ has been redesigned a bit?
On the TFX product page they say:No. It's a standard CS. Lots of unused thread length inside the coupling. But that o-ring on the barrel is critical. It's the only seal - something I'm uncomfortable with.
Actually, they did say somewhere that they made it more reliable. I'll have to take this one apart eventually.
I don't think I'll ever be able to dive with a 3 1/2" big round pacifier in my mouth, ever again
It would be really nice if they made a titanium DIN to yolk adapter with the same accelerated thread motion technology. For the yoke version, the Knob connects to the tank valve with just one turn. An accelerated thread motion. Don't know if there are any DIN enhancements. Otherwise, first stage seems pretty close to the T3.
Lol, that was a good one… “some” eternal life… like being “kind of“ pregnant.Folks,
Lighten the heck up, this is a freaking "regulator" nothing that would lead us to hell or to paradise or give us some eternal life.
How do you “dial it in“? Are there other adjustments that can be played with besides the obvious one on the first stage?Actually had the pleasurer of diving that set up on Friday...dear good god what an easy thing to breath off, wouldn't pay that much, but damn it was effortless once dialed in
Don’t let them get you down. If you see value in the item, or excited by the prospects future changes in the industry, or are just excited to see innovations in technology, it’s great. Ride the wave, never mind the others.I can't believe how much chest beating this new Atomic has created, it's almost amusing but mostly it's just sad, it sure took the fun out of it.
