And for the record, if Diesel is old, then I'm ancient and decrepit...God, it's a wonder I can get off of my walker and make it into the water! (what with being over 40 and all... )
One more interuption into your back and forth...you could always try a weight harness instead of a weight belt - you can adjust your trim as to how high or low you want to wear it and it doesn't have to be cranked down around your waist. I need to wear mine rather low on my hips - lower than I could with a weight belt, so a harness works perfectly for me. They can be expensive new, but you can keep an eye out for them used/on sale both on the for sale board here and at the DUI website....
