Ok I have no idea what you're alluding to but it sounds off color so I don't wanna know. I know I wasn't implying anything at all off color so back to my drysuit.....

no its not off color..
mecahnics are sometimes refered to a knuckle dragers
and yeah back to the drysuit

How do I keep the air from getting trapped above the weight belt?

well ive never had that issue, but i would suggest try and get some lead off your belt... use steel tank. i put some lead on my harness... if you have a ADV bc put soem shot pouckes in the pockets
then yu dont have so much lead on your belt and dont have to have it cranked down tight tight..
also
try a rubber belt like me :) that will flex with the suit, and is way more comfortable

It appears that I need about 35 pounds to sink me with a floaty aluminum tank and annoying BC. That is rather more weight than I like to have on, especially around my waist. Normally I dive with a back-inflate weight integrated BC so if I have a steel tank I suspect I can move the weight around enough so that I'll have to pick something else to whine about...

yup 1st thing. go steel
i think any diving in cold water should be done on steel tanks...
if you LDS dont rent steel
1. they suck
2. thats your next purchace id recomend a 100

I decided napping was more interesting....:D

Christ!!! Are you two at it again???

he started it! :sofa:
