i used to live about 40 minn from there, and never dove there...
swimming off the breakwall yes but no scuba

Just curious, I was there for the NYD dive at Whetherill. Does the vis ever exceed 2 feet?

Yes, I've seen it around 20'..probably more like 15' out at the goat path this fall...I've only been diving there this year so I have no firsthand experience butI am told it does get better. NYD was the 2nd worst vis. day I've had there.
