Why not have GUE instructors or at least tech or cave certified divers be identified by coloring their log in name. (pink would be good) Than without having to search every profile, you'd know if the person is qualified to answer.

Because all of that would have to be verified. Verifying the status of GUE instructors would be easy, because there are few of them and GUE has them listed on the website. Verifying certified divers is another issue altogether. Further... there are plenty of "certified" tech and cave divers who don't know their heads from a hole in the ground....

I only read about the deco on the fly issue. I saw nothing about DPVs. Thanks for the feedback on it.

The Gavin and the X have fought to a draw, kinda like North and South Korea. Thank goodness nobody dives in the Mississippi River and that can serve as a DMZ :D

We can create a separate user group and would be more than happy to do so.

They stopped posting.
And you had nothing to do with it? :rofl3:

At least try and be a BIT honest and recognise what some actions, and the way they are carried out, produce.

Some religions call it Karma, others simply cause and effect.

FWIW....... for all it's spots and acne this forum is valuable. If people used it as it was intended it wouldn't need moderation - no forum would. Moderation is normally a simple result of people doing what they have been asked not to and having to be corrected. Lots of people want others contained but don't want the same rules applied to them.

No Kim,

I have nothing to do with them not posting here and they are both welcome back at any time. They made their own decisions and since they are honorable, they are probably mortified that you made such an accusation.

As for cause and effect, you are the victim of your own karma, but you just can't see it! Denial is not just another river in Africa and bitterness is a fruit best avoided. But that is probably best left for PMs don'tcha think?

So can the moderator pls moderate and close this discussion? It is going nowhere where it hasn't been before and has the potential to become personal.

I agree....it's not a river in Africa.

If you don't want to believe that your own actions played any part in several people no longer posting completely, or posting much less, so be it.

If you want to take it to PM that's fine by me. Please though - make it original and not just a cut and paste.
