Yes - that's what I was thinking, too. The Mick Jagger is a polka-dot and the Rod Stewart a shortnose. But hopefully an ichthyologist will give her/his expert opinion.

the shortnose is a nice find anywhere, but especially blue heron. the are more common (to use that term loosely 
) in the Caribbean than Florida.

High tide is at 1:44 Saturday. I'm thinking about heading up there. Are any of the nudi-hunters going to be there? If so, would you mind if I follow you around for a little while? I'd like to see where and how you find those things. Don't worry - my pics will never be as good as the ones in this thread!

This dead shark picture is from the entry/exit area of the west site at BHB today. Someone is attracting and killing these critters near kids swimming at the beach. A shark was killed on Thursday by the same group of 2-3 people at the same location. It was reported on Thursday and the people had moved on. As we got in today a guy was talking about seeing a Tiger, he seemed like a total yahoo, so was widely ignored!! When we returned to the entry/exit--dead pup shark!!
If anyone sees or hears anyone doing this, please report it to the lifeguard or law enforcement.
