the only other fish taht is even close to
that color is the blackear wrasse, but
the head looks too big

That was the only shot I could get off before the sucker dove into the sand as I tried to work my way around the front of him

I've been trying to get a shot of this guy for some time now... Still looking for an ID...

It looks like a juvi Doctorfish.

if it dove into the sand.
no other wrasses do except
yellowhead wrasse, and it
its not a yellowhead.

are right in your ID.

I agree with Sully, it is a Razorfish. And yes, Razorfish are wrasses.

Very nice pictures by the way, the pics of the Banded Jawfish are amazing.
