Great face on photos of the Eagle Ray It was great to see them still there my photos not worth sharing but I still had a great dive
I found a snorkel on a picnic table It has initials on it if it is yours it is now at Force-E

Amazing pics sportxlh! I bet if you run them through a color correction program they will be even more clear.
We are going to be there Sunday morning, about an hour before high tide. We are still hoping to see the seahorses on the eastern side before the bridge repairs start, so if any of the seahorse experts will be there Sunday, let me know!

D2 that would be fantastic! My offer is still on for a round of drinks for anyone who can show us a seahorse. My girlfriend and I will be in the parking lot near the east side by 11:00. I wear a black wetsuit w/ blue sleeves, silver spilt fins, canon camera and housing, no strobe. She wears a black and purple wetsuit, purple beanie, and blue split fins. We bring one of the yellow inner-tube type dive flags. Maybe we can try to meet up in the parking lot? Hope to see you and any others Sunday morning.

cosine tangent secant sine. 3.14159. Go.... Purdue!

Sorry. I got nothing, but like your handle. :)

I might find you a seahorse non the less.

The tide is running about 10-15 min. later right now (new moon on the cusp). A lot of us will be entering the water right at 11 AM. We spotted a yellow and an orange seahorse today

I will already be in the water by that time I am diving early as I have to leave early but am diving the north side of the East bridge If I see you underwater & am near a seahorse I'll take you to it. They are scattered all about you just have to look closely to find one.

Well, I want to thank everyone for their offers, but unfortunately, I woke up this morning feeling about 1/2 sick, so we are going to scrap the dive. I'm afraid I've caught a cold or flu that is going around my office and I think it's best not to push it. Hope you all have a great dive, and hopefully we can meet up another time! Thanks again.

hope you all have a good dive today. scuba board member jimw sent me a cleaned up version of one of the eagle ray photos I posted yesterday: the image has a bit more depth and detail (thanks jimw!)

I also saw this little guy in some discarded machinery

It was a great day getting back into the water with my camera. It was almost like I was relearning how to use it. I'm glad teaching season has slowed down, so now I can start taking pictures again.

This looks like it was a juvi bandtail puffer. It was maybe 1 1/2" long.
