Billmackbarnes, that first shot of the squid is fabulous--a really interesting and unique view, IMHO. I didn't even recognize it as a squid! It's unfortunate there is so much backscatter, I wonder if there is a program for that?

All the photos are really great--the next best thing to being there!

Dove the bridge last thursday and again last night. both were great dives, have been seeing some critters we haven't seen before, so that is always fun. Hopefully I'll have some pics to share sometime soon!

I'm diving it this Friday morning...who's in?

Hi tide this Friday is supposed to be 10:42 am at the inlet.

I may be there, hate to burn a steel 120, but I have a few 80's laying around so might do that. I will know Thursday mid-morning-ish.

Hey, just show up and look for me. I started a thread about it under trips & marketplace.

Head's up to anyone who plans to dive BHB this weekend...my dive was cancelled today due to bacteria in the water. Lifeguards were not letting people in. Thankfully, a dive buddy got there super early and called me before I was even halfway there. Check conditions before you head out this weekend.

Sadly for my other buddy, he did not answer his cell when I called him, then didn't check his messages, and he drove all the way up there. He talked to the lifeguards, who informed him that the county has a website that would have informed us of the closure. I will post it as soon as he e-mails it to me.
